The nightlife in this beautiful city is fueled by it´s many students from all places in the world who came to Florence to study Italian and/ or art history. The nightlife in Florence is not only to be found in bars, pubs and clubs. It is as well indoor as outdoor on the streets.
This is the place were the old classic world meets the new modern world, where Italian Romeo´s are gathering to “woo” foreign beauties, where the hip young men and high heeled trendy woman come together in the historic scenery having a good time.

In this small street you will find only a few bars as Caffé Sant’Ambrogio and Plaz.

In the weekends, on Friday and Saturday this street will be transformed in a outdoor party area, becoming one big outdoor nightlife scene. Via de Renai – Porta San Niccolo
This area is said to be the best place to experience Florence´s outdoor nightlife. The atmosphere is esthetically awesome, under Piazalle Michelangelo, besides the river and overlooking the city´s skyline being in the midst of historical buildings, gardens and monuments. Also the drinks in the bars are said to be the tastiest in Florence. Look for the characteristic bars Zoe and Negroni, Caffe’ la Torre, Fuori Porta Wine Bar, Beppa Fioraia Restaurant, il Rifrullo Bar.
Piazza Santo Spirito/ Piazza del Carmine
This area has the most historical and genuine atmosphere in Florence where you will definitely not get bored. The whole neighborhood is characterized by buildings with great historical architecture, small hidden streets, beautiful squares and gardens.
Bars to go in this area are Cabiria, Gustapanino and La Dolce Vita which is said to be the coolest bar in Florence where the crowd is a well balanced mix of locals and foreigners.
Florence has flexible licensing hours for pubs and clubs. Most places stay open until 01.00 to 03.00 hrs.
